First - I finally gave the blog address out to the masses. Ok - maybe not the masses but to my wonderful friends and family. I hope you all forgive me for sending a 'group' e mail that was just written once and distributed to all.
Second - I guess I should fill you in on the trip itself. The plan is go south and then west before heading back home. Sounds simple...BUT we are traveling with my mom who has MS (multiple sclerosis), her wheelchair and her walker. If that isn't quite enough, we are bringing all of our pets. Between us, we have 7 cats and 3 dogs. Ok - two and a half dogs..one is only 4 and a half pounds - but still, it's an RV-full to say the least! (And before you ask, YES they all get along!)
I can only imagine some of the stories that will come from this crazy idea of a road trip that started when my friend's Dad sent me an e mail saying he would like all his children in Florida for an anniversary celebration. With an invite like that - how can you say, "No"? I love you Bernie! You are the best!
Seriously, if it wasn't for my 'Dad' (Bernie) this trip would not be happening. The funny thing is - the last place we'll be before heading back home is visiting my 'real' father in Las Vegas. When I told him we were coming to town, the first thing he did was tell me about a hotel near his condo and how affordable it was. Gee - thanks Dad! LOL Of course, that is the joy of the RV -
Wherever you go - you are already home.
I guess that is as a good a place to stop typing as any, for now.

Yes, I am glad the sugar high only lasted until 3:00am and we did have a great evening.
