Well - I didn't want to post on fb that I started a blog and put the address out there - but the private message thing wouldn't send when I tried to do it that way. I didn't have the patience to go to my mail program and make sure I had all the e mail addresses so I gave up and posted it on fb.
I also was reading a book on blogging today that said whatever you do - don't go with a black background. I guess I'm open to your opinion. Leave the blog design as it is or believe the book is right and change the design. I just think it's funny that the only thing I really did so far out here was pick a design and within the first few pages of a book on blogging I already screwed up!
I was going to say more but I think I'll wait until tomorrow.

I like the black background ... especially with the Indian gods and goddesses gadget. I guess you could also change to a deep purple.

And now I see why I didn't know about the blog ... I never go on FB. I'm a slacker.
